Bluebird Care Derbyshire Dales & Amber Valley are a home care provider, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to provide full social support in people’s own homes, including Live-in support and companionship.

We provide bespoke, mainly privately-funded support and are considered a provider and employer of choice in the Belper and local area. We are privileged to support the vulnerable people in the local area and we never take that privilege for granted.

Following our last inspection in November 2019*, the CQC rated our service Overall Outstanding and published their findings in their report dated February 2020. This rating is only awarded to between 3-4% of services annually and we are proud that our team has achieved this. The CQC make regular checks to the service.

Here at Bluebird Care we are Living Wage Accredited Employers meaning that we pay the Real Living Wage, which is higher than the National Living Wage. The same rate is paid to employees regardless of age.
As a regulated service, we take our responsibilities seriously, and it is difficult to portray the lighter side of our offering, but we do have fun with customers, in the office and as colleagues.

Our service has an excellent team ethic, great employee retention, and our office and field care team have a wide range of experience and knowledge to support people in the local area and, indeed each other.
