Welcome to MOTOSTOP. Here's a little bit about us.

Motostop is a family owned and run motor supplies store / Motor Factors based in Ripley, Derbyshire. Owned by Matt Emery, Motostop has become the one-stop-shop for all things car related in the local area.

Matt took over Motostop in 2011 and has built a reputation for being extremely knowledgeable, helpful and able to lay his hands on almost any car part, from the branded replacements to the more generic ones, always with a quick service and going above and beyond for his customers. Steve joined the company in 2020, Steve has a wealth of knowledge being involved with the Motor Trade for some 35+ years. George and Brian joined Motostop in 2021, Dawn and Rob Joined us in 2024, keep your eyes pealed for Brian, Rob as they nip around in one of the company vans delivering parts to the local garages and retail customers, followed by Dawn and George on van numbers two and three no doubt.

Stock at Motostop ranges from the usual suspects such as wiper blades to the more exotic like PPE gear and a selection of tools for both Mechanics and car DIY enthusiast.
Matt is proud of the teams capability to find whatever you may need from stock or to special order.

The shop floor has all the essentials you will need from Auto-Glym, floor mats to windscreen cleaning spray, hi-vis wear, cycle parts, towing equipment and much more.
Behind the counter is the hidden labyrinth of car parts, all on hand for Matt, Steve, Brian & George to grab for you.
If it’s not in the shop, they can more than likely order it for delivery for same / next day collection!
Motostop holds a wide range of Motaquip & Comline products too and will offer a free battery check and fit your new wiper blades free of charge, all the little things that help ease your burdens with car maintenance. In addition, the team work closely with local garages too and have built up a network of regular trade customers, testament to the dedication and hard work put in by them all.
